Virtlantis is a friendly and creative community in Second Life where people have come together since 2006 to learn languages, explore new ideas, and enjoy informal learning activities. What started as a language learning project has grown into a space for all kinds of creative and educational events—from casual language meetups and live music to art exhibitions, role-plays, and games. There’s no fixed schedule—everything is offered by volunteers, so you can join as much or as little as you like. All languages and subjects are welcome!

Whether you want to practice English, share your artwork, join a DJ session, or help with community projects, Virtlantis offers many fun and flexible ways to get involved. You can create learning content, build virtual tours, support events, or help with the Discord and Skool platforms. It’s a great place to learn by doing and meet people from all over the world. No pressure—just join in when you can. And don’t worry if you’re new to virtual worlds—we’ll help you get started!

A fresh new start is coming in May 2025, with more ways to connect, learn, and co-create. Virtlantis will always stay free and community-run. Come say hi—we’d love to meet you!
